Joe
joined the Tomball Fire Department in December of 2000 as a volunteer
firefighter. In October of 2002, Joe accepted a
position as a member of the Duty Crew. Joe is employed full time with
the Austin, Tx. Fire Department as a firefighter, currently assigned to Ladder
17 in south Austin. Joe also works part-time for the Montgomery County
Hospital District as a Public Safety Communications Officer as a licensed
paramedic. He holds a Basic structural firefighter and a Intermediate
Instructors certificate through the Texas Fire Commission, his Paramedic and
EMS Instructor from the Texas Department of Health, and his Emergency Medical
Dispatcher from the National Academy of Emergency Dispatch. Joe has additional
training in technical rescue, structural collapse, cave rescue and water
rescue. Joe enjoys spending his time off with his son, Cameron.
