The Tomball Fire Department is a combination department that consists of both volunteer and part-time paid firefighters (duty-crew). The duty crew works daytime hours, generally when the volunteers are not available; due to work or school. The duty crew staffs both stations Monday - Saturday from 8a-6p. There are currently ___ volunteer members and ___ duty crew members. Of the ___ volunteers ___ of them are Basic certified through the State Fireman's and Fire Marshal's Association (SFFMA), ___ of the volunteers are certified through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP). All of the duty crew members are required to be at minimum Basic Structural Firefighter (TCFP) and EMT-B (TDSHS).
